Rother Valley golf course

This golf course is set in impressive surroundings. It is situated at the entrance to Rother valley country park. A very popular place with lots of water sports and walking activities. Click here to see the Rother valley website.

This is a relativly new course compared to the other golf courses in this area but it is well worth a visit. The course was opened in 1996 and was privately funded.

This golf course has excellent facilities for all your golfing needs. The clubhouse is where you will find the resident golf pro and a small golf shop. A little further into the clubhouse is a very nice bar and eating area with excellent meals being served at very reasonable prices. The aroma from the eating area is wonderful.

Outside the clubhouse you will find a driving range for a warm up basket of balls before your game. Golf buggies are available for rent as well.

Expect to pay approx £10 for a round in the week and a little more at the weekend.

Rother valley golf course always welcomes visitors and have lots of special offers on to entice golfers to play there. The offers tend to be on Monday through to Thursday. Very good value on golfing and meals can be had on these days.

Rother valley boasts a full 18 hole course and a 9 hole par 3 course as well. The nine hole course is ideal if you dont have a lot of time or if you want to practise your short game.

The 18 hole course is fairly open with the newly planted trees only being a small size at the moment but obviously these will be much bigger in the future giving the course a completly different look and feel to it.
