Welcome to golf in Rotherham. I have created this site to show you the delights of playing golf in this area. There are many different types of golf courses for you to choose from. I have added pictures and details about each course to make the choice of which course to visit and play easier.

For those of you that do not know where Rotherham is. It is in South Yorkshire, England. Not far from Sheffield. A map is available here to show you the position of south Yorkshire in relation to the rest of England.

To see the location of the golf courses mentioned on this website you will find a link on the left hand side of this page called golf maps. This takes you to a excellent website with up to date maps of local areas and information about the golf courses. Once there you can put the name of the course in the search box and it gives you a excellent map of the area. You should not have much problem finding the courses with these maps.

Now lets tee off for golf in Rotherham.

Included on each of the golf course pages are the approximate prices you would pay to play them (prices may change from when this website was made) and details of how to get to the courses. Pictures and descriptions of the course is also included. Also a link to the golf courses own website if they have one that I know about.

I have also included details about my local driving range as this is now owned by Peter Cowen and has recently seen dramatic changes to it.





A little about me. This is me above working on my swing at my local driving range.

My name is Andy Coe and I live in Rawmarsh which is just a few miles from Rotherham. I have been playing golf since 1994 and love to play whenever I can. Because of work commitments this is not as often as I would like. My golf game has improved over the years but I am still not as good as I would like to be at playing this wonderful game called golf. I personally think you are always learning at this game, unless you are naturally gifted, which I am not. To me playing golf gets you away from all the hustle and bustle of modern day living and is a chance to relax and unwind.

Andrews Album

I have also recently created a New album called Andrews Album where there is lots of recent pictures that I have taken of different subjects from birds of prey, dragonfly, the moon and my pet dog Sam amongst others using a newly released Sony Alpha A100 Digital slr camera. Take a look, I think you will like them.

I have also repaired a few problems that I had with this site and it is working much better now especially the navigation links which where a horrible blue colour and made reading them almost impossible. If you see any dead links just send me a email and I will try to rectify it as soon as possible.
